Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2020

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Shanker Nesathurai was General Manager, Public Works Christopher Baird, with annual earnings of $160,968.19. General Manager, Employee and Corporate Services Yakov Sluchenkov made $152,593.31, General Manager, Health and Social Services and Chief Nursing Officer Marlene Miranda made $152,352.71, and General Manager, Community Services William Cridland round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $135,750.39 for the Norfolk County 2020 Sunshine List.
